Our Founder:
Janet Flounory
Janet Flounory, CEO of Stepping Stones Therapeutic Solutions of Georgia, was founded in May 2019 with a clear and purposeful vision. From an early age, Janet demonstrated a deep passion for serving others, shaped by her upbringing as the daughter of a pastor and a mother who worked as an adoption specialist with the Department of Family and Children Services.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, she pursued advanced degrees in Special Education and Human Services Counseling. Her professional journey led her to work with exceptional learners and families, empowering children to build confidence and partnering with parents to support their educational growth.
Motivated by the need for proactive mental health intervention, she established SSTSOG with the mission of helping individuals, families, and communities turn challenges into life-enhancing opportunities. Guided by her faith and a God-given gift, she has dedicated her career to fostering restoration and building resilience through consistent, high-quality therapeutic services.
